Spearhead supports Emmaus in new fundraising partnership

Spearhead eLearning are pleased to announce that Emmaus UK, which supports homeless people with homes, support and meaningful work, is now their charity partner. Spearhead eLearning will work directly with Emmaus companions (former homeless people), offering Elearning courses, training, including health and safety, first aid, employability and construction, in addition to work placements.

John Loveday, CEO and Co-Founder of Spearhead ELearning has also signed up for the Three Peaks Challenge on 22nd June, which he plans to complete in 24 hours. All the money raised will be donated to Emmaus UK

Spearhead eLearning are committed to helping individuals who may experience disadvantage. They recently worked with 21 homeless ex-veterans in Birmingham and Manchester, offering practical training, which successfully led to employment and one of the individuals starting their own business. All continue to receive ongoing support from Spearhead eLearning team.

John Loveday, CEO and Co-Founder of Spearhead eLearning said:

‘As a company, Spearhead eLearning are regularly giving back to the local community and especially supporting the homeless. We are very proud and excited to be partnering with Emmaus UK in order to support their companions with high quality training and development. It’s a great charity with a great team and we aim to support as many homeless companions as possible. This commitment starts with my personal fundraising goal – completing the National 3 Peaks challenge in 24 hours! We’re looking forward to developing our relationship with Emmaus now and into the future.’

Sallie Winterbottom, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Emmaus UK added:

‘We are so delighted that Spearhead eLearning have chosen to support our work with former homeless individuals. Their wide ranging experience in training and their links with employers, will ensure our companions across the UK have exciting additional opportunities to increase their employability skills and confidence. We’ll be cheering John on, as he completes his 3 Peaks Challenge and we thank him and his organisation for their support.’
