This 30-minute Safeguarding Children in Care e-Learning Course is part of the Care Certificate and one of the 15 Standards that make up the full certificate.This course outlines and educates you on how to spot the early signs of abuse and neglect, as various legislative requirements state that it is everyone’s responsibility to safeguard children by recognising risks to their safety and protecting them from all types abuse and neglect, which will promote the welfare of children and guarantee their right to live in safety free from abuse and neglect. It is therefore your responsibility, within a health and social care setting, to ensure the wellbeing of those children you may be responsible for and within your workplace.
