First Aid Requirements and RIDDOR overview:
The First Aid Requirements RIDDOR programme is targeted at managers to help decide what First Aid provisions they need in terms of their staff and training. It will also explore RIDDOR and what has to be reported, who needs to do this and how.
It is important to have the right training for people when it comes to First Aid as it can save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming more serious. RIDDOR stands for Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations and these govern the reporting of accidents at work. This training programme will inform you of these regulations and what injuries are subject to RIDDOR.
Who Should Take This Course?
All employers and people who are responsible for a group of people within the work place are obligated to make a report under RIDDOR in case of an accident. Because of this these people are expected to possess adequate knowledge of the regulations. In addition to this people who also find themselves in control of premises must make a report. This course will ensure that managers, leaders and those who are in control understand when, why and how to make a suitable report.
